Body Language

I was talking to my son's preschool teacher and she seems to think that my five year old son is too imaginative. I am a student working towards a teaching degree, at his age he is supposed to be highly imaginative. I think that every five year old boy loves video games, t.v. and playing army with thier friends. What I can't understand is why she picked my son out of 10 other boys. She says he is very smart but she doesn't want him to blur reality and fantasy. Define normal and what a kid should be doing at his age. Her fake sneer of dissaproval is rude and offensive. I hope her high school education will take her far in knowing what a child should be doing. She smiles although I think she ultimatly just doesn't like me! So, I'm sure by the look I gave her, she now understands my body language! My child just thinks LEGO Batman is more interesting than what he had for dinner last night!!!! (I'm a little overprotective if you couldn't tell....)
